American Cocker Spaniels!
Welcome to the small home based "kennel" of American Cocker Spaniels, located in the town of Bonnyville, Alberta Canada. (About 2 1/2 hours northeast of Edmonton)
Our goal at Brookhart is to produce quality American Cocker Spaniel puppies defined by their temperament, health and beauty. Even though each litter is planned and bred for show quality, our emphasis is on making our puppies available to families who crave them for the sole purpose of loving companions. We emphatically believe that even "pets" should be just as correct in terms of the Standard for the Breed as set out by the Canadian Kennel Club. We feel these companion animals are the true ambassadors for the American Cocker Spaniel, as these are the ones that most everyday people come in contact with, and are generally the animals that opinions and reputations are based on. It is therefore extremely important to us that these puppies be everything they can be. We accomplish this by using only CKC/AKC Champion lines, doing hip and eye testing and certification, and extensive early socialization which is critical to a well adjusted puppy.
Please be advised however that because this philosophy is so important to us, these puppies can only be entrusted to homes dedicated to providing exemplary care. This will also include an agreement that their new family member will be spayed or neutered.
